For everyone that needs to travel to O'ahu for the relay, we recommend booking flights, accommodations, and cars as soon as possible. President's Day weekend is a 3-day weekend for most people, so we'd encourage you to book flights that arrive on Thursday and leave on Monday if possible.

On Thursday evening there will be a social event and packet pick-up for all runners. Then on Friday you'll have a day to explore O'ahu, maybe go surfing or hiking (but remember you're running the next day). Saturday and Sunday will be 24/7 relay, and Sunday evening you can enjoy the post-Relay BBQ. Then you can get some sleep and fly out Monday.

O'ahu's airport is HNL

You can stay wherever on the island you'd like. Most teams are running through Honolulu and Hawaii Kai area at night, so having a place there could be convenient to pop into and get some rest.

Honolulu has the most hotel options, but most teams have enjoyed using Airbnb or VRBO to rent an entire house for their team.

You'll want cars big enough to be comfortable for a full day. You can also get a passenger van if you'd like to keep the whole team together. That option can be really fun, but you'll have less flexibility if part of the group wants to sleep.
