The Hoku Relay is a 134-mile relay around the island of O'ahu. Teams of 6-12 participants divide and conquer 24 running segments, including sunset runs down the beautiful Wai'anae coast, a midnight run through the vibrant Waikiki strip, and a sunrise run against the backdrop of the verdant Ko'olau cliffs of east O'ahu.

The relay concludes with a celebratory, Hawaiian-style BBQ on one of the most beautiful parts of the island.

Total Distance: 134 miles
Total Legs: 25 legs, 4-7 miles each

Cost: The Hoku Relay is a team event. The team fundraising goal is equal to the number of runners * $250. An 8 person team would have a $2,000 goal, a 10 person team would have a $2,500 goal, etc.

The Hoku Relay is a life-changing experience. It's an awesome way to support a good cause, hang out with friends, get some exercise, and see the entire island of Oahu! If you're intimidated by the distance or getting a fast time, just remember it's for charity and it's a relay, not a race :)

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.
