Morgan Runs the Hoku Relay

Morgan Muschamp

Morgan Muschamp

In October one of my best friends asked me if I wanted to run a 134-mile race in Hawaii and my first thought was, "I've barely ran in the past 6 months, let alone that much!" After assuring me I would be part of a team and I would not, in fact, have to run the entire distance, he explained the purpose of the race and how it benefited students in Hawaii with economic need.

I currently serve as an AmeriCorps volunteer at a private school in Boston for girls from limited financial means, so at the risk of sounding cliche, this opportunity felt providential. As a passionate believer in the power of education, I have decided to commit myself to this principle in my work, and now my recreation.

I hope you will help me with this commitment by donating to this cause and sharing my mission with others!
